Collet Block, ER-32 Square

A collet block is a precision workholding device designed to securely grip and position cylindrical or hexagonal workpieces. Unlike traditional vises that clamp with flat jaws, collet blocks utilize a collet – a slotted sleeve with a tapered outer surface – that collapses uniformly around the workpiece when tightened. This provides a concentric and consistent grip, minimizing the risk of distortion or damage, particularly when working with delicate or thin-walled materials.

• The collet block is 1.57" square and the body is 2.8" long.
  
• ER-32 collets have a range of 1/16" to 13/16" (2 mm to 20 mm)
