Made from a high-quality chrome-plated carbon steel which offers superior wear resistance and long-lasting, crisp graduations. Fully hardened, tempered and etched with precision.
A combination square consists of a steel rule (blade) and a sliding head that locks anywhere along the rule. The head typically has two reference faces: one at 90° for square cuts and one at 45° for miters. Many models include a bubble level and a scribe/awl for marking precise lines. The head slides along the rule and is secured with a knurled knob to maintain accurate measurements

4R graduations, 8ths & 16ths, 32nds & 64ths. Protractor graduated 0-180 degrees in both directions.
Heads have hammerstone powder-coat finish. Square/miter head includes level vial and hardened scribe tool.
