The shanks on these are sized to match the cutters, so the 1/2" bits seat perfectly in my collet without any slop. The TiN coating has held up nicely through a few aluminum jobs, and having both 2 and 4 flute options in one box covers most of what I do.

The TiN coating on these HSS end mills held up well through several aluminum cuts with no chipping. I just wish the set included a single 1/8" bit for smaller work, but for the price, the 10-piece selection is solid.
