End Mills, 2 Flute Ball, M42 Cobalt, Individual Sizes

End Mills, 2 Flute Ball, M42 Cobalt, Individual Sizes - Main image
$17.47 $24.95 In stock

Single ball end, 2 flutes. Made from M42 (8%) cobalt. 3/8" shank

Due to its spherical tip design, it easily handles complex curved surfaces, cavities, bevels, and other non-planar geometries—especially in mold manufacturing, aerospace components, and medical implants.

Compared to traditional flat-bottomed tools, the ball end mill bit provides more uniform cutting contact, significantly reducing residual height and improving surface finish.

Flute length and length vary, see Specifications.

Riley ★★★★★

Finally got around to milling some curved pockets and the M42 cobalt really holds an edge longer than the HSS bits I used to burn through. The 3/8" shank gave me plenty of grip in the collet, and the ball tip cut a clean, smooth radius without chatter.

Claire ★★★★★

The spherical tip on these 2-flute ball end mills made quick work of some tricky bevel cuts in aluminum I was machining. The M42 cobalt seems to hold an edge noticeably longer than my older HSS bits. Definitely a solid upgrade for anyone doing curved work.

Matthew ★★★★★

Used these on some hardened steel and the 3/8" shank gave me plenty of grip without any chatter. The spherical tip cut a smooth radius in the cavity I was milling. Very happy with how they held up.
