This Arthur R. Warner Co. grooving and cut-off tool has a 0.500" shank and is 4.375" long.

The maximum cutting depth of the groover inserts is approximately 0.25". This tool can be used for both right hand and left hand operations as it will accommodate an insert on either side of the tool.

Each pair of inserts includes one left hand insert and one right hand insert.

The inserts lock in with a satisfying click, and the HSS blades cut through aluminum extrusion cleanly on the first pass. Only minor is I wish the set came with more insert screws.

The indexing mechanism works smoothly and the HSS inserts are holding an edge well on aluminum, which is my main use here. Only gripe is the kit doesn't include a wrench for swapping inserts, so I had to dig one out of my drawer.
