Machined aluminum gives this handwheel a satisfyingly solid feel, and the knurling provides excellent grip even with oily fingers. It bolted right up to my lathe without any fuss, making adjustments much smoother than the old plastic one.

The handwheel fits perfectly on my SC4 and the aluminum body keeps the whole tailstock assembly noticeably easier to spin without adding any wobble. Machining marks are clean and the knurling gives a solid grip even with slightly oily hands.

Bolted it on in about ten minutes and it tracked true on the first pass, no wobble at all. The aluminum build gives it a nice heft without adding useless weight to the tailstock. Exactly what I needed for the SC4.
