CCMT-32.51 carbide insert is a 80° diamond with a 7° relief. The center hole is a 40°-60° single countersink, and a single-sided chip breaker.

It has an inscribed circle (IC) of 0.375" (3/8"), a thickness of 0.156" (5/32"), and a corner (nose) radius of 0.0156" (1/64").

The insert is designated CCMT32.51 (ANSI) or CCMT09T304 (ISO).

The 80° diamond profile gives me a nice clean corner on finishing passes, and the 7° relief keeps it from rubbing in the bore. Chip control with the single-sided breaker has been solid on 1018 steel too.
