Evelyn M. ★★★★★

I’ve been using this insert for finishing passes on some tougher steel parts, and the CVD coating really holds up without chipping. The MGMN-200-G profile leaves a surprisingly clean surface finish too.

Brian ★★★★★

I was a bit skeptical about using a CVD-coated insert for interrupted cuts on steel, but this one handled a roughing pass with zero edge chipping. The coating laid down a consistent finish even at moderate feeds, and it lasted through the whole batch without needing a swap.

Charlotte ★★★★☆

I've been using this MGMN-200-G insert for some light interrupted cuts on steel, and the CVD coating has held up well so far—no chipping. It's a solid performer for the price, though I wish the chip control was a bit better during heavier roughing passes.
