Machinists Jack Set, Small - Main image
$19.47 $29.95 In stock

Machinists' jacks are used to support odd sized or odd shaped objects. Use them to support the ends of long workpieces that extend beyond your vise jaws. Use them to support the edges of items that you are clamping with your clamping kit.

The machinist's jack includes lots of parts that you can mix and match to meet your needs.

  • Two extension bases
  • Auxiliary pointed screw
  • Inner and outer V bases

This jack is about 1" in height when retracted and can extend to about 2" which should be appropriate for a 3"-4" milling vise on a mill table.

Christopher K. ★★★★★

These little jacks are perfect for keeping long workpieces level when they hang out past the vise jaws, and the set of three different sizes gives you plenty of options for odd shapes.

Benjamin ★★★★★

I needed to support an oddly shaped metal bracket for some drilling work, and the precision-machined steps on these jacks held it perfectly without slipping. They’re just the right size for smaller workpieces and feel solid enough to trust.

Carter N. ★★★★★

The little machined steps grip odd-shaped parts way better than my old homemade blocks, and the set covers a handy range of sizes. I used them to prop up a long bar that hung past my vise jaws and it held rock steady through a heavy cut.
