$4.17 $6.95 In stock

Magnetic back for dial indicators that can easily screw onto the indicator and allow the indicator to be mounted on any surface which attracts a magnet. The magnet is strong and is wrapped in a blue plastic shell to protect it.

The diameter of the tools is 2 1/4" and it is 9/16" thick.

The indicator is fixed to the holder with a screw and this magnetic backing fits AGI Group II dial indicators.

*NOTE* To mount this magnetic backing, use the screw that came with your indicator which is used to mount its current backing. Sometimes a slightly longer screw is required. If that is the case, buy a 2-56 screw of the appropriate length to mount to this magnetic back.

Eva ★★★★★

I needed a quick way to swap my indicator between mill and lathe setups, and this magnetic back threads on securely in seconds. The strong magnet holds tight even on vertical surfaces, and the blue coating keeps it from scratching my tools.

Leo ★★★★★

The threads on this screwed right onto my indicator with zero fuss, and once it’s on, that magnet grabs hold of the machine table like it’s welded there. I’ve had it stuck sideways on a vertical surface for hours without it budging an inch.

The blue coating is a nice touch—it keeps the magnet from scratching the surfaces I stick it to. Screws right onto the indicator and holds firm even when I tilt the setup at awkward angles.
