Swapped out a worn HSS bit for one of these carbide inserts and the finish on aluminum came out noticeably cleaner. The 35-degree diamond shape gives good clearance for the profiling cuts I was doing. Only knock is the set screws felt a tad soft, but they held fine once snugged up.
