Revolving Tailstock Chuck Adapter, 3" Chuck, 2MT

Revolving Tailstock Chuck Adapter, 3" Chuck, 2MT - Main image
$174.17 $259.95 In stock

Use this in conjunction with a 3" 3-jaw chuck in place of a live center. No more center drilling. This works great for long, large diameter work pieces where a live center or steady rest just won't cut it. Three ball bearings for heavy duty loads and relatively high speed.

*NOTE* Chuck is not included, but it works great with our 1187 lathe chuck.

Abigail P. ★★★★★

Finally a way to skip center drilling on those long, awkward pieces. The adapter mates perfectly with my 3" chuck and the 2MT taper held tight on a 20-inch shaft without any wobble.

Elizabeth Y. ★★★★★

Swapped out my live center for this adapter and a 3-jaw chuck, and it handles long steel rods without any wobble, even at higher speeds. The 2MT taper slid in perfectly and held firm.

Penelope B. ★★★★☆

I needed something to hold a large diameter piece securely on my lathe, and this adapter with the 3" chuck handled it without any wobble. The 2MT taper slid in smoothly and the whole setup felt solid. Only small issue is tightening the chuck can be a bit awkward if the adapter is already mounted.
