Safety Switch

Safety Switch - Main image
$13.97 $19.95 In stock

Safety switch found on a couple of different mills and lathes. One use is to cut off the Z-Axis power lift motor on the HiTorque deluxe large bench mill. When the Z-Axis is at its upper or lower limit, the sensors send a signal to this safety switch to shut off the Z-Axis power lift motor.
Another use for this switch is to stop the spindle when the change gear cover is opened on the 9x20 bench lathe.

Ellie ★★★★★

Wanted a clean way to stop the Z-axis at its upper limit on my bench mill, and this switch did the trick. It's solidly built and mounted easily with the existing holes.

Timothy ★★★★★

The Z-axis on my HiTorque bench mill used to slam into its limits if I blinked at the wrong moment. This switch engages exactly when it should, top and bottom, and the install was straightforward with the existing wiring.

Carter T. ★★★★★

Installed this on my mill to stop the Z-axis at the top, and the positive engagement when it trips is very reassuring. The wiring was straightforward, and it’s saved me from crashing the head once already.
