Taper Turning Attachment, 2MT, Dead Center

I installed this on my lathe and the taper attachment made my first test cut dead-on accurate with zero tweaking. The included 2MT dead center is machined precisely and holds the workpiece steady through the whole cut.

The 2MT dead center seats solidly in the tailstock, and the taper it produces is dead-on accurate right out of the box. I didn’t have to touch my cross slide or buy any retrofit kit, which is exactly what I wanted.

Finally got around to mounting this dead center and the taper cutting is dead accurate, no modification to the tailstock needed. It’s solidly built and the 2MT fit is snug on my lathe, so setup took under ten minutes. Really takes the guesswork out of making tapers.
