Took me about 20 minutes to align the bolt holes, but once mounted it fits snugly against the column and keeps chips out of the Z-axis slot. Feels like a solid, machined piece of steel that should last.

Bolted it onto my SIEG SX2.7 column this afternoon and the fit was dead-on, zero slop or shimming needed. The way cover slides smooth and keeps chips out of the Z-axis ways, which is exactly what I needed after a few messy cuts.

Fits the HiTorque mill’s column perfectly, and the rubber lip seals tight against chips and coolant. Took maybe ten minutes to bolt on with the existing hardware. Wish it came with extra mounting screws, but it’s doing the job so far.
