The hardened jaw surfaces really bite into the tap without slipping, even on a stubborn 3/8" job. For the price, this little 8" wrench feels sturdier than it has any right to be, and the zinc casting keeps it light enough for tight spots.

The knurled handles give you a solid grip even with oily fingers, and the jaws held a 1/4" tap dead square the whole time. I threaded about thirty holes in mild steel and it hasn't slipped once. Definitely worth the money for this size range.
