The Morse taper fit was snug and precise, no wobble at all. I had to cut the tang as instructed, but once installed on my mini lathe, it held the chuck securely.

The threads machined cleanly onto my lathe spindle without any binding, and the tang drive made engaging the tailstock feel solid. I just had to cut the back end off as described for a perfect fit in my mini lathe. It's a simple, well-made part that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

The tang end seated perfectly in my tailstock, and after trimming the tail per the instructions, the 3/8-24 threads mated up cleanly with my chuck. Solid steel, no wobble, and it took under five minutes to install.
