The casting has that solid, reassuring weight you want in a machine base, and the tilting column mount lines up perfectly with my existing hardware. Took about an hour to swap everything over, but it’s been rock-solid through a few tough milling sessions since.

I was worried the base might not be perfectly flat, but after bolting it down the column tilts smoothly with zero wobble. The casting is heavy and well-machined, exactly what my mini mill needed.

The tilting column mechanism is incredibly smooth, and the base casting’s precision alignment holes made my retrofit straightforward. I had my Mini Mill reassembled and trammed in under an hour.
