The cut on these 1/2" indexable boring bars is incredibly clean right out of the box, and the HSS triangle inserts hold an edge through a ton of stock removal without any chatter.

The triangle inserts lock in solidly with no chatter at all, and the 1/2" shank fits my boring head perfectly for some tight internal work.

I was a little worried about the fit on my lathe, but the 1/2" shank slid right into the holder without any slop. The HSS triangle inserts cut cleanly through some tough steel on the first pass.
