Bottom Plate, HiTorque 9x20 Bench Lathe

The machined edges on this bottom plate are noticeably cleaner than the piece it replaced — no sharp burrs to file down. Feels like a solid, well-cast part that should hold up fine under the lathe's weight. Definitely saved me from having to fabricate one myself.

The bolt holes lined up exactly with my lathe bed, no filing needed. Installed in under ten minutes and the machined edges look clean. Really solid upgrade from the warped MDF board I was using.

The cast iron surface is perfectly flat and the powder coating is even, no rough edges at all. Bolted right up to replace my warped original, and the bed stays rigid now.
