Collet Chuck, ER-32, 5C

The taper fit onto my 5C collet closer was perfect, and the runout checked out under half a thou with a quality ER collet. The hard black finish feels durable, and the included spanner wrench works fine for tightening.

Spun it up on the mill and checked runout with a test indicator—dead-nuts within 0.0005" as advertised, and the hardened finish feels solid. The included spanner makes tightening quick, so I'm already swapping collets faster than with my old setup.

Runout checked in at just under half a thou on my indicator, which is plenty for what I need. The hardened body feels solid, though the spanner that came with it is a bit tight to get seated at first.
