Combination Square, 4" 4R, Starrett

Tested it on a few cuts and the photoengraved blade markings are crisp and easy to read, even in dim light. The reversible lock bolt holds tight without slipping, which is exactly what I needed for precise layout work.

The scriber on this square scribes a clean, precise line, and the spirit level is accurate right out of the box. I've already used it to check a few cabinet frames and it’s replaced two separate tools in my drawer.

The reversible lock bolt is a clever design, making it easy to switch between inside and outside measurements. The cast iron head feels solid and should hold up well in the shop.
