I’ve been using these end mills on some tight aluminum parts and the center-cutting feature lets me plunge straight down without any pilot hole. The flute length on the 1/4” size is generous enough for deeper passes than I expected. Great value for the price.

Was a bit skeptical about the smooth finish claim, but these ground HSS flutes really do cut clean without chatter. The center-cutting tip lets me plunge straight down, which saves me a setup step on every job.

The two-flute center cut design leaves a noticeably cleaner surface on my workpieces than the three-flute bits I used before, and the solid HSS holds up well across repeated passes. I've already burned through a few aluminum jobs and the edges still look crisp.
