The fit on my 9x20 lathe was spot-on, no slop or binding when I installed it. After a few hours of use, the threads feel just as precise as the original.

The 20TPI threads cut smoothly right from the first install, and the fit into the cross slide nut was snug without any binding. My old screw had worn down after years of use, so this replacement brought back that precise feel when dialing in cuts.

I was worried about cross-threading when installing, but the Acme threads engaged smoothly from the start. My lathe's backlash is noticeably reduced now, making finer cuts much more consistent.
