Gear, Transition 42 Teeth, Bench Lathe

The 42 teeth mesh perfectly with my lathe's existing gears, making carriage feed much smoother than before. It slid right onto the shaft without any filing or modification.

I was a little worried about fit, but this 42-tooth gear dropped right in with zero slop. The machining is clean and precise, so my feed runs smoother than it did with the old part.
