Got my 3/8" square shoulder end mill yesterday and the 90° shoulder cut is dead-on accurate for slotting. The inserts seated easily and stayed tight through a couple hours of steel work, no chatter at all. Exactly what I needed for clean, square slots.

The 90° square shoulder cut is dead-on accurate, and it handled slotting on some mild steel without any chatter. I've only used it for a few passes so far, but the finish is already noticeably cleaner than my old carbide end mills.

Was a bit nervous about runout on a 3/8" cutter, but this thing holds a true 90° shoulder without any chatter. The 1/2" shank seats solidly in the holder, and slotting cuts came out clean with sharp corners.
