Installation was straightforward on my bench mill and the 750 watt brushless motor runs noticeably smoother with less vibration than the old one. Plenty of low-end torque for cutting steel without bogging down.

It took about an hour to install on my mill, but the 750-watt brushless DC motor runs noticeably cooler and quieter than the old one. The extra torque at low speeds makes facing cuts feel much more solid.

Swapped out the old spindle motor on my SX2.7 and this 750-watt brushless unit runs noticeably quieter and smoother on the first test cut. The DC setup gives much better low-speed torque than the original, and the wiring was a clean drop-in fit.
