This locking nut fits perfectly on my Z-axis drive, no wobble or slop at all after installation. The threads are clean and engage smoothly with the lead screw from the first turn.

Replacing the original nut was a ten-minute job, and this one seats snugly on the Z-axis shaft without any wobble. I've put a few hours of milling in since and the lock holds its setting, which is exactly what I needed.

The threads matched perfectly on my SX2.7 mill, so the Z-axis no longer slips during heavy cuts. It's a simple part, but it solved my problem instantly.
