The 13.5" length was spot-on for my Z-axis swap, and I actually liked that it came undrilled—let me set the mounting holes exactly where my setup needed them. The steel feels solid and straight along its full run, so the rack should hold up fine under repeated cuts.

Cut it to length myself for a custom fit on the mill, and the steel feels solid enough for heavy-duty use. The lack of pre-drilled holes was actually fine for my setup.

Measured it at 13.5 inches tip to tip and it dropped right into my mini mill's Z-axis with no fuss. The undrilled blank meant I could position the mounting holes exactly where my old setup needed them. Smooth travel now, no more slop in the head.
