Reamers, Chucking, HSS Individual Sizes

I needed a precise 3/8" reamer for some engine block work, and the 45-degree chamfer on this one made starting the cut feel gradual and controlled. The cut was smooth on the mild steel, and the HSS held up fine through a dozen holes.

I've been using these HSS reamers for a few weeks now and they hold their edge really well even through tougher materials. The straight flute design clears chips cleanly, which helps with smooth, accurate holes.

The 45-degree chamfer made a real difference—it started cutting without that annoying grab you get with cheaper reamers. I've run these through a batch of steel parts and the finish is consistent, and the flutes clear chips just fine.
