The reference line lines up perfectly with the dial, so reading the 0.001" divisions is finally straightforward. It slipped right onto the compound rest without any fuss, and the 20 TPI threading matched cleanly. A solid little part that does exactly what it should.

Installed this on my 20 TPI mini lathe and the reference line on the retainer lines up perfectly with the dial. The 0.001" division marks are crisp and easy to read, even in dim light.

Wasn't sure a $20 part would be cut right, but the reference line on this retainer lines up dead on and the dial reads a clean 0.001" per division. Threads onto my 20 TPI screw smooth, no slop. Nice to finally trust my compound feeds.
