The X-axis bearing on my Sieg mini mill kept working loose mid-cut, but this retainer locks it in place perfectly. Fit the assembly exactly as described and took maybe ten minutes to swap out. Solid piece of metal that does exactly what it’s supposed to.

My mini mill's X-axis was getting sloppy, but this retainer fit the bearing perfectly and locked it down tight. Took maybe ten minutes to install, and now the carriage moves smoothly with zero play. Exactly what a worn-out Sieg needed to feel solid again.

Finally got around to swapping this into my mini mill and the bearing sits rock-solid with no wobble at all. The machining is clean enough that it slid right onto the ways without any filing.
