The nylon locking strip held fast during a full day of milling, and the dog point found its groove without any wobble. These M4x14 screws are exactly what I needed for my bench top jig.

The nylon strip grabbed the threads right away and held firm through a full afternoon of vibration on the mill table. The dog point pressed in exactly where I needed it, no slipping or walking out of the hole. These are going straight into my regular stock.

The nylon strip on this M4x14 set screw really does the job—once it's torqued down, it stays put even with the vibration from my mill. The dog point seats into the shaft nicely, and the 14mm length was perfect for the coupling I was fixing.
