Set Screw, M5x5, Socket Cone Point

The cone point seated perfectly in the Z-axis gear slot on my mill, and the socket drive made tightening a breeze with just an Allen key. These M5x5s are exactly the right size for the job, no fiddling or filing needed.

Popped these into the bench mill and they seated perfectly against the Z-axis gear, no stripping. The cone point design makes alignment a breeze even in tight spots.

The cone point bit into the Z-axis gear shaft exactly as it should, and the M5x5 fit was spot-on for the mill. No wobble or slippage once it was torqued down, so the fix held through a full afternoon of cutting.
