Set Screw, M5x8, Socket Dog Point

The M5x8 size was exactly what I needed for a tight fit on my machine's adjustment plate. The dog point tip held securely without stripping the softer aluminum material.

The dog point tip seated perfectly in the pre-tapped hole, and the hex drive held tight without stripping. I used these to secure a small jig fixture, and they haven't loosened at all under vibration.

The dog point tip made aligning these screws in the subframe holes a breeze, saving me a ton of fiddling. They threaded smoothly with a socket driver and held fast without stripping. Exactly what my project needed.
