Machined smooth and slipped right into place without any modification needed. The shaft's hardened surface looks clean and it spun true from the first test run, so I'm confident this will hold up well under regular use.

The fit was spot-on for my HiTorque lathe, no fiddling or shimming needed to get it aligned. Machining a few test pieces felt smoother than the original, and it’s held up through a solid week of use without any wobble.

Spent the afternoon replacing the old shaft on my lathe, and this intermediate one slid right into place with zero play. The machining on the splines is noticeably precise, and the whole machine runs much quieter now.
