The alignment is spot-on—it slid right onto the quill pinion with zero wobble, making the handle assembly feel much smoother than the old setup. Definitely a solid upgrade over the factory part.

I was worried the pinion might slip, but this shaft locks everything in place with no wiggle at all. The machining is precise enough that the handle assembly spins smoothly right out of the box.

The alignment shaft fits perfectly into the quill pinion and handle assembly, and the machining is precise enough that there's zero play once locked. Took about ten minutes to swap out and the quill action feels solid again.
