After about a year of use, the old torsion spring finally gave out, and this replacement shaft felt identical to the original. The threading on the end matched up smoothly with the head support mechanism, and I didn’t have to modify anything to get it seated correctly. Solid fix for a straightforwar

Fit the mounting bracket perfectly, and the torsion spring action is as firm as I needed for the head support. Did exactly what it was supposed to do on the first try.

Worried the dimensions would be off, but the SKU 1456 matched the original torsion spring head support exactly. Installed it and the mechanism moves smoothly again, no wobble.
