Soft Jaws, 4" Vise

These magnets are plenty strong, they held firm on my 4-inch vise even when I angled it sideways. The V-grooves really grip round stock nicely, and the aluminum feels tough enough to last.

I was pleasantly surprised by how securely the V-groove held a piece of copper pipe while I filed it—no slipping at all. The magnets keep the jaws firmly in place on my vise, yet they pop off easily enough when I need to clean the grit out of the slots.

The embedded magnets made mounting on my vise effortless, and the aluminum is soft enough to grip a brass fitting without any marks. I especially appreciate how easily the magnets pop out for cleaning after a dusty job.
