Had to replace the original spring on my mill after it lost tension, and this one fits the dial assembly perfectly. The 4.65 mm diameter matches exactly, so the graduated dial turns smoothly with just the right amount of resistance now.

Installed this on my bench mill and it seats perfectly against the handwheel dial. The spring tension feels just right for keeping the graduated dial from drifting during operation.

Ordered this to replace a worn spring on the mill's dial, and it fit perfectly with the 4.65 mm diameter. Works smoothly with the ball bearing now, though I wish the package included a spare. Does the job well for the price.
