Having both the plain and ball bearing fingers in one set is really handy for swapping between different materials without buying extra parts. The fit on my mini lathe was perfect right out of the box, and the 2-inch capacity handles everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

I was a bit worried about the setup, but the brass fingers feel incredibly smooth on small brass rods. The interchangeability of the fingers between the two rests is a genius touch, making it easy to switch between plain and ball bearing support.

Swapping between the plain brass fingers and the ball bearing ones is a breeze, and the range covers everything I toss at it from tiny dowels to just over two inches. Both rests hold firm with no chatter even on light cuts.
