My old z-axis screw had a ton of backlash, but this replacement is machined cleanly and threads in smoothly with no wobble. It took maybe twenty minutes to swap out, and now my mill is cutting accurately again.

Dropped this into my mill after the original screw started binding, and it fit perfectly with no extra shimming. The hardened steel feels noticeably more durable than the stock part I took out.

The threads are machined clean and smooth, so the screw turned in without any binding or hesitation. It’s a solid drop-in part for my benchtop mill, and the Z-axis now moves with a much tighter, more precise feel than before.
