Took my time mounting it, but the alignment holes match the compound rest exactly, so it’s a snug fit with zero wobble. The turning motion is buttery smooth now, which makes angled cuts feel way more controlled.

Slipped right into place on the compound rest and the rotation feels smooth, not gritty like the stock part. The angled cuts now hold their setting without creeping, which saves me a ton of fiddling on every setup.

The indexing marks are clearly engraved, making it easy to set repeatable angles for threading operations. It fits my lathe’s compound rest perfectly with no slop—definitely a solid upgrade over the factory part.
