Finally, no more fiddling with shims to get dead-center alignment — that two-part design lets me dial it in perfectly with the set screws. The casting feels heavy and solid, which gives me confidence it'll hold true under load. Exactly what my bench lathe needed.

The horizontal adjustment on this two-part tailstock was a breeze to set up, and now my lathe’s headstock and tailstock are perfectly centered. It feels solid during use, with no wobble at all.
