Finally found a set that actually locks tight and stays put, especially on the smaller 5/16" gage where others slip. The self-centering plungers make it dead simple to get accurate readings in deep bores without fiddling.

Was pleasantly surprised by how well these lock into position for repeat measurements, the knurled locking screw feels solid and precise. Getting consistent readings on deep recesses has been much easier with the self-centering plungers holding true. Definitely a step up from my old set.

These gages lock up nice and firm, which makes transferring measurements from deep grooves to the calipers quick and accurate. The set's range covers most of the odd-sized holes I run into at work, and the plungers self-center reliably every time.
