Vise, 3" Screwless Sine

The machined surfaces are dead flat, and the screwless design means no backlash to fight when setting angles. It locks up solid on the cylinders, and the 4-inch jaw opening handles small parts perfectly.

The jaw opening at a full 4 inches handled my larger workpieces without any fiddling, and the 10-inch center distance on the cylinders made angle setups feel rock-solid. Took a bit of cranking to get the sine bar dialed in, but once it was there, it held position without a hint of slip.

I've been using this sine vise for setting up precise angles on the mill, and the 2.9-inch jaw width holds small workpieces securely without any slipping. The screwless design makes swapping parts quick, and the 4-inch jaw opening gives enough room for most of my fixture blocks.
