I was a little skeptical about the fit, but the bolt holes lined up perfectly with my mill's way screws. It definitely keeps chips and dust off the ways during heavy cuts.

The machining on this cover plate is surprisingly clean, with no sharp edges or burrs that would snag on a rag. It slid right onto my SX3.5 mill's ways and provides a snug, protective fit without any wobble. I'm glad I spent the extra few bucks to keep the chips out of that area.

The machined edges seat flush against the ways without any slop, and the extra rigidity is a nice bonus. I’ve had the mill running for a few weeks now and the cover hasn’t shifted a millimeter, even during heavier cuts.
