Was rewiring the column on my bench mill and this ring fit the SX3.5 housing like it was made for it. The plastic is stiff enough to hold the wires off the metal edge without pinching. Good cheap insurance for a job you don't want to redo.

Snapped right into the column back of my SX3.5 and now the wires aren't rubbing against bare metal anymore. The SB-22 size fit exactly like the original, which saved me from ordering the wrong one twice. Cheap part, but it does its job.

Wasn't sure this little plastic ring was worth ordering separately, but it snaps into the column back perfectly and now the wires aren't rubbing against bare metal. Cheap peace of mind for an SX3.5.
